TUTOR TIME® CHILD CARE/LEARNING CENTERS, INC.
CELEBRATES THE WEEK OF THE YOUNG CHILD NATIONWIDE
April 7th – 13th

Boca Raton, FL, February 24, 2002 – Tutor Time® centers across the country join
hands with the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) to
celebrate the Week of the Young Child April 7th through the 13th.
The Week of the Young Child is an annual celebration sponsored every April by

NAEYC, the nation's largest organization of early childhood professionals. The
purpose of the Week of the Young Child is to focus public attention on the needs of
young children and their families and to support early childhood programs and
services. This year's theme is Children's Opportunities – Our Responsibilities.

Nationwide, parents, teachers and community leaders team up to interact with the
young children at Tutor Time® centers, to further stimulate the learning process
through interactive presentations and fun-filled activities. Tutor Time® centers
throughout the country will feature projects from their environmental Roots & Shoots
program, theme of the Week related plays performed by the children, painting projects, contests, carnivals and visits from local political dignitaries. In addition, special guests will visit various Tutor Time® centers to educate the children about everything from safety habits, to dental hygiene, to dinosaurs and good sportsmanship.

"We are looking forward to another opportunity to celebrate children and families at our Tutor Time® centers nationwide to accentuate the importance of our responsibilities which are children's opportunities," says Dr. Victoria Folds, Tutor Time®'s Vice President of Education.
