Fundraiser Makes Dreams Come True for Those with Special Needs


June 30, 2004 -- DreamPower Therapeutic Equestrian Center raised over $50,000 during it's 7th Annual Stephanie Marino Memorial Golf Marathon held on June 14th at the Trophy Club of Atlanta in Alpharetta.

"Through the efforts of the golfers,caddies, volunteers and sponsors the funds raised today will help DreamPower meet necessary expenses which support the core programs." said Nick Costides, the organizations treasurer.

KC Liederman, DreamPowers founder, said "We are blessed to have so many friends in the community that are willing to share their good fortune to help those with special needs that are served by our program"

The Fulton County based nonprofit, has served those in Metro Atlanta with special needs since 1993 by providing therapeutic horseback riding and equine related programs year round.

DreamPower programs are fueled via the hard work of the community, volunteerism and generous contributions, which help ensure those with special needs continue to have access to DreamPower programs.

DreamPower Therapeutic Equestrian Center, Inc. is accredited by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA).
