EDUCATIONAL NETWORKS LAUNCHES SECOND NEW YORK CITY HIGH SCHOOL WEB SITE AT MANHATTAN'S PARK WEST HIGH SCHOOL

New York, N.Y. June 1, 2001. The day after its New Dorp High School web site was honored as the "School Site of the Month", first school to be honored by WABC TV's Tech Guru, Educational Networks, Inc. has announced that its second New York City high school site will be launched at Park West High School located on West 50th Street and 10th Avenue on Monday June 4th at 3:00 PM. Ali Arsan, the twenty-eight year old engineer who servers as the New York based company's chief executive, also promises at least three more New York City high school launchings before the end of this school year. If all goes as planned, three of the five boroughs will have at least one high school with a fully interactive web site created and powered by Educational Networks.

Park West High School will be the second in the United States to reap the benefits provided by Educational Networks' software which provides total communications networks linking students, faculty, parents, and alumni. The network in place at New Dorp High School on Staten Island since March 21st, has not only provided web-based email linking the entire school community, but also virtually every aspect of school life has been represented on the school's site. Students now find their homework assignments, linked to available research sources on the Internet, posted with comments from teachers. With the addition of a chat room, the school can now even engage in after school tutoring simply by scheduling a chat session, and neither the teacher nor the students need to be present in the school building. From the school's social activities and student commentaries to its overall academic performance and baseball scores, New Dorp is in touch with its community members 24 hours per day.

With the launching of the Park West site, approximately five thousand New York City high school students will benefit from a revolutionary learning tool on a par with those found on America's best college campuses. Educational Networks' dream is to see every American high school student to have access to the information not only to excel academically, but also to make the best choices about future education and employment right at his or her fingertips.
